Anyone read a quote like this? I know it’s from something I’ve seen fairly recently for spiritual reading–possibly Fr. Faber’s “The Foot of the Cross”? I’m trying to remember for a paper. Thanks for the help!

Reminds me of Fr. Thomas Dubay’s “Fire Within” where I believe he was speaking of St. John of the Cross… don’t have the book with me at the moment so I can’t look it up.

Byzantine hymnography makes references to “the darkness of ineffable Light.”
