I heard this question in a debate and its puzzling me. Was wondering if someone could help me answer this objection. “If God is omniscient, then he should know the best way to convert me yet he doesnt.” Thats the basic objection.

Well, it doesn’t follow necessarily that God should do anything.
If you demand God “should do” any particular thing, that kinda makes you God, doesn’t it?

Maybe since God is love, he allows you free will to find him. Love only exists in freedom.

If you love your children, you don’t force them to love you, and you don’t lock them in a room to protect them from the dreaded “problem of evil”.

Maybe he does but you just don’t recognize it as the best way. Heaven is a destination but faith is a journey. Your mileage may vary.

He knows and you probably do too, but your free will gets in the way.
