God's temporal actions

I can’t seem to answer this question to some atheists that I know:

How can God, who is an immaterial being as well as outside of time, interact with the physical world (e.g. talking to Moses through the burning bush, talking through the clouds at the Transfiguration, etc.) if he is not bound by the physical world?

I would start with the fact that He is Not bound (restricted). I would also point out that one of His characteristics was His Omnipitence. But most important the barrier that separates Him from us was penetrated through the Incarnation and finally broken in the Passion and death, resurrection. Signified by the tearing of the veil in the Temple. Our world has access to the Father through Christ primarily.

For that matter, why should God not be able to interact with the physical world if He is not bound by the physical world? I can interact with a bowl full of fish, even though I am not bound to live in water. I can interact with a rock even though I am not inanimate.
