Hello and thank you so much for viewing this post as just your interest in me is of much appreciation! If you do not wish to read everything, you may skip down to the last paragraph.

I am incoming junior transferring from abpublic school to a Catholic school. I’m going to this school because of the wide range of courses that they offer. But im also transferring to start a new social life. In my previous school, I was lost and treated with little respect from my peers, but the Lord found me and through this he has given me a new opportunity at this new school.

The problem I have is my social skills. I’m a born extrovert but I have never actually had any friends or good relationships with my family and this has cause great confusion on how I start friendships and relationships with others. I love talking to others, its just I’ve never really figured out how to initiate anything. And when I try I feel like I’m trying to be someone im not in hopes that I may be approved. I know this is wrong, but in a world where I have lived all my life trying to satisfy others until recently has taken a toll on how I think and act.

Please pray to our Lord, our Blessed Virgin Mary, the Saints, and/or the Angels that I may have the courage and confidence to be myself and approach my peers at this new school I am attending so that I may find valuable friendships/relationships that may help me along my journey in life. I will pray for you tonight. You shouldn’t worry if you are going to transfer to Catholic school, kids there are usually a lot more friendly and wont make fun of you. Too bad I am not going to Catholic school, I’m just attending regular high school 😦

Yes, during orientation I realized that. Kids just seemd to be more open and definitely more Catholic.

Today was my first day, it wasn’t the best because the class I was put in was small and the cliques seemed very closed. But they were friendly. Hopefully when my new school starts implementing periods where I can move classrooms I can make some friends. Anyway and again, God bless you all and I’ll keep you all in my prayers as well 🙂

Don’t worry! All things take a little time. Also, with all the restrictions and covid, it could be they haven’t seen each other in quite some time. Praying for you and many blessings. 🙂

@Irishmom2 @Katherine438 @aroosi @pollylodges hey yall! Thank yall for keeping me in your prayers whether you still do or not cause it means the world to me knowing that people like yall pray for me. Anyway, my first day of real school (a full day of school) is starting tomorrow. I’m rly excited and im feeling confident. Please pray that the Lord may guide me into my studies, a new social life, and a new start in general. Also pray that I may find some community service to partake in soon as ever since my recent bike accident, I havnt been active as much in my community. God bless yall and you all will remain in my prayers!

@Irishmom2 @Katherine438 @Bixx thank yall for praying for me! The first week just ended and I’d say it went partly well. I think I just need courage to go up to people. All my teachers are awesome, I just dont know how to adjust with everyone or find a group to fit in with yet. God bless yall and I’ll be praying for yall!!!
