Any recommendations for a good book on Catholicism? Like a basic Cathechesism.

I third Catholicism For Dummies. I wouldn’t quote it in a term paper or anything, but it explains many things very well, and is good for those who don’t know a whole lot yet. 😉

Take a look at Exploring the Catholic Faith: A Guide Through the Basics by Herbert McCabe, O.P. I read it and found it to be short, and very much to the point without watering anything down. Three parts, each part subdivided into several questions about the Church. Beautiful resource for those coming to the faith for the first time.

God Bless

Check out Fr. Oscar Lukefahr amm.org/chss.htm

It’s great for all ages - and Free!! But I HIGHLY recommend giving a donation. I bought 25 of his books and gave them away for XMAS one year!!!
