Good books for young children

I have a 3 1/2 year old granddaughter and would like to find a souce of book or books with catholic themes be they bible stories, stories of saints or stories that bear a moral message that a child of 3-1/2 can learn from. I’d appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

We love the Catholic Children’s Treasure Box. They are reprints of the 1950s series by the Maryknoll Sisters. They are available from TAN. They have stories, poems, games, and activities. The stories are about saints when they were children, about guardian angels. They are just perfect for little ones.

Regina Press also has several board books and picture books that would be suitable for a preschooler. They don’t seem to have a website, but I’ve often seen them in Catholic bookshops.
