Good Catholic prayer book

[BlytheMike]

I am looking for a good Catholic prayer book. I have seen some lousy Catholic prayer books online at places like Amazon.com, but I wonder if you guys can provide some good recommendations. Which prayer book do you use? Which do you think is the best and worth the money?

Still don’t know how to post a thread or discussion of my own, where do you go or how do you start. Thanks.

The Pieta is a good one that is well-liked. Because of its popularity and small size, you might be able to find it in its entirety online so you can look at it before buying it.

I especially enjoy the New Saint Joseph People’s Prayer Book. It’s a treasure trove of prayers. It will take me a long time to discover all the richness that it holds.

It’s around $15 and worth every penny.

I love The Catholic Prayer book by Msgr. Michael Buckley. Amazon carries it. Prayers for every need as well as all the ones you need everyday. Mine had the mass before it got changed. Still, a great book.

For traditionalists, I absolutely love the “Christian Warfare” prayer book published by Angelus Press. Although this is published by the SSPX, I think it is an invaluable tool for trad Catholics since it includes the ordo of the TLM and traditional prayers in Latin.

The Queen of the Apostles Prayer Book by the Daughters of Saint Paul. It’s awesome!

May God bless you all!

I cannot recommend *Blessed Be God * highly enough. I first found it in a used bookstore and it was out of print for a long time.
