Good Catholic video series

Hi. I’m looking for an orthodox, solidly grounded, catechetical video series that appeals to youth (specifically teenagers). Something that could be used in a youth group setting that deals with modern issues, but also covers the basics of the Faith. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I’m certainly no expert in what’s available out there…but I think Father John Corapi is incredible. Young people will love him. You can find his videos here:

if Life on the Rock episodes are available they would be great. Are you looking for movies with great themes = Romero, Mission, Lord of the Rings come to mind. Are you looking for apologetics. Steve Ray’s footprints series is good. Are you looking for discussion starters for youth meetings? try Teen Scenes. Depends on what you want. One thing I have learned is that a “talking head” that is great for adults is boring for kids, and they cannot watch a video for more than 15 minutes without zoning out. You will know you are losing them when the cell phones come out.

Thanks for the suggestions. Yes, our parish actually has a set of Fr. Corapi videos, and they are great…but the youth don’t come out to the Thursday night sessions, generally speaking. Father and I think we need something that is geared specifically at reaching teens.
