Hey, could someone please suggest to me some really good works on evangelical apologetics? Or even a book that explains general evangelical concepts held by most evangelicals? I’ve been reading a lot of Catholic apologetics, Church Fathers, etc., but I don’t really have a clear idea as to what evangelicals believe and how they support those beliefs. It seems to me that books I’ve read by Karl Keating and Currie deal mostly with fundamentalist Christians. I’m more interested in mainline evangelism–Methodism, Lutheranism, Presbyterianism, etc. I know that there are many differences even among these churches; but I also realize that they share similiar ideas about sola fide, sola scriptura, icons, canon, etc.
Please don’t think me a heretic. I simply want to understand the other side to better understand my own. :yup:
