Good Morning America made this child known when they did n 8 minute spot which is posted on youtube.(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

None of the complaints have ever found wrongdoing, but earlier this year Desmond was featured in a Pride campaign for Converse, and the calls started all over again.
Desmond isn’t the first drag kid to spark moral panic. Miss Mae Hem, a 9-year-old drag performer in Ohio, [was also the subject]
Another drag queen boy, age 9, Miss Mae
Video of a Dec. 1, 2018 performance at JD Hendersons bar in Lancaster led to complaints and an investigation by Lancaster police and state agencies, said Lancaster Mayor David Scheffler. No law violations were found, he said.

I wouldn’t blame people for calling child protective services. This kid’s handlers are effectively sexualizing him

I was thinking the same thing. It’s not gonna be a happy story either…

This is simply adorable, and it’s good that this child is learning the ropes early in the quest for superstardom. Wouldn’t you all agree?

All the clueless adult lemmings in the GMA crowd clapping and cheering. So brave! How wonderful! 🤮

Adorable isn’t quite the right word for drag. It doesn’t look like it’s meant to be cute anyways.

Whatever happened to little boys riding bikes and playing kickball and getting muddy and wearing holes in their jeans?

We have gone from gay right in 80’s to small children used in major ads and being groomed at young ages in local libraries. Ignoring has not worked.

There’s a serious issue with an 11-year-old being used to sell a line of shoes, regardless of whether he is acting like a drag queen or like the straightest, most normal little boy since Dennis the Menace.
This reminds me of the very young Brooke Shields being exploited to sell jeans.
I’m surprised that there isn’t more objection to the fact that this is a child, regardless of what he’s wearing, saying or doing.

.

She was also appearing topless in movies. Her mama was her manager and totally pushing her to do all this.
I’m still amazed at how this was all allowed.

You know what else was hella creepy from those days?
Loves Baby Soft Perfume commercials and print ads.
Although I liked the product (we all had a bottle on our bureau in those days), the ads seemed wrong to me, although I couldn’t quite put my finger on why (I was a lot younger then 😏).

Won’t be dressing like this at my school. Strict dress code and only 8th grade girls can wear any makeup ( mascara only).
