:rotfl: , LMAO! I suppose you can consider it self-defense if you think the goods the caravans were carrying that Mohammed wanted to steal actually belonged to Mohammed by divine right.

I guess we can say that Mohammad fulfilled at least two prophecies of the Bible [NT]:

“False prophets will arise and deceive many.”

and …

“He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.” And Mohammed certainly did.

PS. I heard they have Mohammad’s actual sword in Mecca somewhere near the Kha’aba.
His sword is there, so are a few hairs from his head when he died, his ring and some other stuff.

**

You are asking for the words Badr and Muhammad in that prophecy.
**
Yes, because you have asked for the word “sword” in the verses of the sword, and if the word “sword” is not in the Qur’an, you claim there cannot be any verses of the sword. If the literal word has to be in the Qur’an verses, then the same applies to Badr/Mohammed/et al in the Bible. Let’s call it "planten’s Rule".

😃 too funny! 😃

Planten,
Please refrain from deciding who is and and who is not Christian. It is most annoying. If they disagree with Islams’s view of Christianity you seem to be presuming they are not Christian. Islam’s view of Christianity is NOT Christianity necessarily.
While we disagree with you on matters of faith I suspect no one here would accuse you of NOT being a Muslim.

A good point of islam:
Many inmates in US prisons who become Muslim tend to be less likely to fall into immoral behaviors while incarcerated. They often seek to reform their previously evil lives.
This is also true of Christian converts behind bars.
Nonetheless faith in a being larger than themselves brings them from their degradation of spirit.

With what you smite necks…😉

(Quran 47:4):
Therefore, when ye meet the Unbelievers (in fight), smite at their necks; at length, when ye have thoroughly subdued them, bind a bond firmly (on them): thereafter (is the time for) either generosity or ransom: until the war lays down its burdens. Thus (are ye commanded): but if it had been Allah’s Will, He could certainly have exacted retribution from them (Himself); but (He lets you fight) in order to test you, some with others. But those who are slain in the way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost.

planten is trying to escape Islam’s verses of the sword by claiming the Arabic word for “sword” does not exist in the Koran, yet we could say that every post he makes about Islam paints Mohammed and Islam in a good light, even though the word “good” might not appear in his post. [If “sword” doesn’t appear in the Koran, maybe it is “scimitar” instead, which would make planten technically correct, but misleading. Taqiyya or kitman, anyone?]

** You are trying to spread into other fields. Seems you have lost the debate and your balance too. What kitman and Taqiya has to do with our discussion. It seems you have lost and you want to run away and you want to distract the posters into other subjects.

I have told you that the word sword is not found in the Quran. If you are capable then show it to me from the Quran. Smiting could be done any tool. At the same time, you had the word sword mentioned a few times in your bible. Why was that?

It was ordered by jesus to buy swords even at the cost of selling the clothes. What is your reason for such bad order? Also Jesus had said that he had not come to make peace . He had come to spread fire. What is your reply to such bad words which I am sure did not mean at all. I know Jesus never meant to spread disease. He came and gave the message of Peace. But you people have it in the bible. So you should not talk about peace because bible forbids you. And Please, no lecture of Love too.**
