I’m looking to increase my prayer, and I am someone who loves structure and following directions. For example, I never really exercised until I discovered “couch to 5k”, which requires no creativity, just obedience.
Variety and choice are daunting to me. I know there isn’t “one right way” to pray, and that’s exactly my problem. I want to get past this personal barrier, this voice that says, “if you only do X every day, then you’re missing out on Y and Z”.
Is there a program that helps people like me work out a routine that includes some Rosary, some Lectio, maybe some LotH? Maybe something used by a lay ecclesial movement or an adaptation from a religious community?
