So I’m a 22 yo guy. And to get places, I’m doing a bit of walking as I’ve got troubles with my bike. The most common thing being a 20-30 minute walk to a bus stop to get to a community college. So I’m wondering if any of you know a good pair of footwear for the rain that could be worn for a decent distance and is easy to carry around in a drawsack (as I’d probably carry 'em with me on dry days too just in case)? I’ve been looking online but in general it seems they’re either too short to offer any protection or too tall to easily carry around. Any recommendations?

Once purchased I advise spraying your footwear with NeverWet or ScotchGuard.

Also inserting a good orthotic would help.

Be a bold retro trend-setter and bring back galoshes. They’re light and fit stylishly over whatever shoe you’re already wearing.

I actually finally found a search that brought those up at a reasonable price. Though it’s surprisingly difficult to find them for size US men’s 11.5
