What your thoughts, Brothers Sisters? I have wondered about this parable of Weeds among the Wheat.

**The parable of Weeds among the Wheat

Matthew 13 :24 He put before them another parable: ‘The kingdom of heaven may be compared to someone who sowed good seed in his field; 25but while everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and then went away. 26So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared as well. 27And the slaves of the householder came and said to him, “Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? Where, then, did these weeds come from?” 28He answered, “An enemy has done this.” The slaves said to him, “Then do you want us to go and gather them?” 29But he replied, “No; for in gathering the weeds you would uproot the wheat along with them. 30Let both of them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”**

Why, then, should God spare good seeds alone? Who is God, Brothers Sisters? I have know that God is all powerful and all mighty that see ‘29But he replied, “No; for in gathering the weeds you would uproot the wheat along with them. 30Let both of them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’ Does it has fundamental flaw in this parable? what in this parable said that means God could not only let good seeds stay now because if uproot weeds would uproot the good seeds also? But surely God is all powerful God has the power to let only the good seeds stay.

No flaw. It was God’s will to let both grow up together. Men cannot always judge which are good and bad. So rather than have the wrong seeds uprooted by men, God wished all to remain until the end. I could also be meant as a test to the good seeds to see how they would deal with the bad. Whether they would be merciful or not.

:)Thank you,
O Linusthe2nd, God Himself can uproot the bad seeds not uprooted by men and leave the good seeds alone ; God has the power to do this, still God leave them all alone. I think this parable not like you say "meant as a test to the good seeds to see how they would deal with the bad. Whether they would be merciful or not. "I thought the only reason I can think is that not even one human is perfect, all have different wrongs, and different good, like green has many shade, light green to deep green, between them has many shades of green, same as goodness and bad, not one person is all good, not one person is all bad, God give human free will to choose like seed to grow to see who can find the truth and from seed grow out. I saw a TED talk from Facebook yesterday something like what is your greatest fear and how to over come it, I saw many has different fears, no matter what they think I believe for human and all animals the biggest fear is ’ not exist’, ’ not exist’ see what a fear, I think to overcome is ’ not die’ then is fine, and since life was from God and only God can give eternal life, I think the whole chapter of Matthew 13 the parables all talk about who can get eternal life, and parable of weed among the wheat this one might be only mean to comfort human. Bible was written by human many records from human history know of God, but it is not the whole story that human could not understand the whole thoughts of God so I say some place has flaw, remember pope say that Bible is guideline that can not blind follow,
