Over the past few months I have been coming to CAF regilarly and have gotten a lot of help.Unfortunately, my OCD has gotten worse and worse ( not because of CAF, it just has). At this point I think I really want to focus on my recovery and to try my best to get my life to the closet level of normality that I can. I didn’t want to leave CAF without thanking those of you who took the time to help me, either by answering my posts or through private message. I wanted also to ask you all to please pray for me. Right now I can’t imagine myself getting better. I am at the darkest place I’ve ever been with my illness and therapy so far has been giving me tools, but very few results yet. My family, my faith, my physical and mental health, everything is being affected negatively. Please ask the Lord to help me so my Pure-O doesn’t drive me from Him again. I will be loging off as soon as I post this, so I won’t be able to thank you if you post a reply, but I thank you all either way.

Thank you for everything, and please say a quick prayer for me and my family.

God Bless!

Good luck OCD buddy! I hope you get the help you need. I enjoyed meeting you and sharing about our journey as Catholic girls with Pure-O. Keep trying and don’t give up. I’ll leave this here in case you ever come back!

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, Implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother.
To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me, Amen

Prayer to Saint Dymphna:

I turn to you, dear virgin and martyr, confident of your power with God and of your
willingness to take my cause into your hands. I praise and bless the Lord for giving
you to us as patron of the nervous and emotionally disturbed. I firmly hope that
through your kind intercession He will restore my lost serenity and peace of mind.
May He speak to my heart and reassure me: “My peace I give you. Let not your heart
be troubled nor let it be afraid.” Pray for me, dear St. Dymphna, that my nervous
and emotional turmoil may cease, and that I may again know serenity and personal
peace.

Amen.

April, so sad you decided to go! I will continue to include you in my rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet prayers. This is just a test, a test to purify you and make you more whole. I’ll pray for you to persevere in your faith. God bless you, friend.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal April29). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into April29’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

I’m praying for you. May the Lord heal you of OCD and any other problems you may have.

Hail Mary
Full of grace
The Lord is with Thee
Blessed art Thou amongst women
And blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

Lord heavenly Father please bless April, help her through her depression and allow her to get better to find comfort in your word. Help her walk strong in you and turn to you in need. I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen!
