Here, I tried to be part of the conversation, I tried to have some discussion with other people, on why I believe what I believe. Yet, there’s no charity here, and I admit I can get a little angry sometimes , and I admit I can be a little sensitive, but it doesn’t seem like anyone cares if they actually are being condescending to people like me or anyone else for that fact. I hope you understand that, I am using a little bit of hyperbole, I don’t mean there’s literally no charity here , but I feel like there is very little of it here. I admit I can be a little sensitive, I’ve already stated as much, but some of y’all, need to really think about what you say before you say it, and not after the fact. It’s not a good idea to make someone feel unwelcome, a Catholic, on a Catholic forum. I would give examples, but they would be too numerous to name here, a few of you have my contact information, if you want to get ahold of me get ahold of me there.
 
Sorry to see you go, Adam. It’s a shame some drove you away. This is why I stick to the Casual Discussion forum by and large. I like the small talk and games.

I completely understand. If you change your mind and wish to come back, I would be happy to see you, but this place can be frustrating and at this time of the year we are all stretched to the limit.

No, he means there’s no charity here. It’s an overstatement, as @adamhovey1988 himself concedes in his OP, but I understand perfectly what he means, and I agree with him.

Maybe you just need a break. It is understandable how some are more sensitive than others. And you do have to develop thick skin on some of the threads.
I hope you change your mind. Everyone’s (name removed by moderator)ut is important. Even if we all
don’t agree. Unless someone comes here day in and day out and posts nonsense,
our posts have to benefit some of the people some of the time.

Anyhow, hope you might take a break and change your mind.

I do not understand perfectly what he means.
 
Just my two cents worth: One positive thing I’ve noticed here is that there isn’t any name-calling, at least not in any of the posts I’ve read. It’s against forum rules, anyway. People here speak their minds and hearts, and some are quite passionate about it. There isn’t any place for rudeness, however, and if you feel some people here have been rude to you, I apologize on their behalf. I hope I haven’t been. Please do come back – we don’t all have to agree, but we do have to be respectful of one another.

I hope this lesson has been learned.
 
I respect you Adam. This forum is a string like all Christian forums. At one time I stood away from it. I needed it.
It’s all smoke over waters. I realized I would rather argue here because my local EO forums are not active as of late, than argue about politics and nonsense on the popular media.
Better face the waves. It’s the apostate/atheist pov in Europe, in my country Romania, listed as most religious in EU, that trouble me more than people going nuts here. It is as it is.

What can have happened to @Ddan’s post that you’re quoting here? Did he delete it himself, I wonder, or did a mod kindly delete it for him?!
 
A mod might have deleted it. Doesn’t the system say that the post has been deleted by the author and will be deleted within 24 hours unless it’s flagged?
 
No, I can’t see anything at all. It has disappeared without trace.
