Has anyone read the book “Goodbye Good Men” by Michael S. Rose? I am in the process of reading it. This has been approved by the Diocese I am in and it is very disturbing, but with a glimmer of hope that things are turning around. Am I just behind times with this book? Came out, I believe, in 2002. Just wanting to get some feedback about it. Talked to a few orthodox priests in my area and they do recommend it.

this book has been discussed many times, don’t know if any threads survived the crash, because there were links to many other reviews and on-line discussions.

I would first look at the review in Crisis magazine that came out when the book was published, and were harshly critical of Rose’s journalistic standards and ethics.
