Is it true that gospal written by judas was discovered .Judas was betrayed our lord as per his wish
 
The author claims to be the apostle Judas, but that certainly doesn’t mean Judas wrote it.

It was probably written in 150 AD, which is over one-hundred years after Judas committed suicide. So it’s unlikely that it’s an authentic gospel. Besides, it contradicts the others; John claims that Judas was tempted by Lucifer. If it’s the word of St. John versus the man responsible for Christ’s execution, I’ll believe John.
 
There sure is. National Geographic did a documentary on it and also I think put out a book. Their work is very much taken issue with by Dr. April DeConik from Rice University. Her book, The Thirteenth Apostle has been well received I believe in the academic community. Check our her blog at:

May I ask, just to clarify, when you say “as per his wish” do you mean the wish of Judas or the wish of Our Lord?

Yes, one who was already dead certainly could not have written something after his death.

Judas was dead before Jesus was crucified so when do you think he could have written a gospel? As another poster has said the document was written in the second century so it certainly was not by Judas the betrayer!!
 
I’d really like to read DeConik’s book. Clearly Judas if the gospels are accurate, was dead before Jesus was crucified. Although it was surely common to name a writing based on who’s theology it reflected, it wouldn’t seem likely that Judas had much time to have a theology. I have no idea what Dr. De Conik’s claim is in this regard.

We’re all I suppose pretty much guessing here.
