Granddaughter's Christmas greeting

My seven year old granddaughter wanted to make a sign to hang on the fire place for Santa, so she took a big piece of paper, wrote a message with a marker, and proudly showed it to us.

The message: WELCOME SATAN

She is not the best speller in the class

As you already know the spellchecker will NOT be helpful … Satan is spelled correctly

and the spell checker does not know what word you mean, only if a word is spelled

correctly. She needed a PROOFREADER. At least she had all the correct letters,

just the wrong order.

I meant it in regards to someone she knew checking her spelling.

It’s technically not the wrong way to use the word.

You don’t have to be on the computer to always need a spellchecker.

I’m actually dyslexic, so it took me awhile to get what the problem was.
