Grandfather’s diagnosis

Hey everyone,
I found out yesterday that my grandfather was diagnosed with rectal cancer. They are running more tests to find the extent of where the cancer originated or has spread too. Please pray for him not only for his diagnosis, but that he might find the lord through these troubling times. Also maybe pray for me that I will have the right words to say to him to encourage him to find god. I don’t want to be a barrier. He has never been religious but is one of the best men I know. If anyone is deserving of our lords mercy it should be my grandfather.

Prayer to St. Peregrine

that you have obtained from God for those who have had
recourse to you.

For many years, you bore in your own flesh – cancer, which
destroys the very fiber of our being. When the power of man
could do no more, you were favored with the vision of Jesus
coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask
of God and Our Lady, the cure of Seth’s grandfather, whom we
entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing
to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great

Prayer for a Loved One’s Conversion

O Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, and in the power
of the Holy Spirit, I ask that You fill Seth’s grandfather with
the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom
and understanding. Enlighten this precious child of Yours,
dear Lord. Open his ears so that he can hear Your message
of love and mercy.

Give Seth the wisdom to share spiritual truths with his
beloved grandfather. And through Your mercy, God,
grant Seth’s grandfather father a home in eternal
glory. Amen.

I pray that the Lord heals your grandpa of cancer and that He guides him to the Christian faith. May He also make you into a better ambassador of Christ. Amen.

Dear Jesus, please help this good man to cope with his situation and please bring him closer to you. If possible to cure him or at least minimize his pain, please do so. Please also help his family to deal with the situation and best help him with his physical and spiritual needs. In Your name I humbly pray. Amen.

who has bowel cancer.

Please pray that God will grant this kind grandfather:
inspiration to find You; complete healing of cancer;

Prayer for Repentance and Conversion

O God, in Your great mercy and love, grant that we may
sincerely and thoroughly repent from all our sins, and
humbly and devoutly receive Your forgiveness through
the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Grant this same grace

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for ConcernedConvert, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. Thank you! So far the cancer is looking localized, but they are going to run a pet scan to be sure.
