I have written before on this site asking for prayers for my Grandson, he has A.D.H.D ,
he is in primary 1 at school, yesterday the head mistress asked for an emergency meeting , my Daughter and son in law got a meeting today, plus the school physiologist came too, it was explained my grandson seems to be getting worse ( they have had a bad few days in the home with him )
School said he is reacting badly to the noise the other children in the class make, and is unable to go out to play in playground, also a few days ago he poured a yogurt over some child, because they had touched his food, so for the last couple of days he has eaten his lunch alone in another room, physiologist advised his parents to get an emergency appointment with hospital as school thinks there is more than the A.D.H.D wrong with him, i ask you to pray for Callum, and ask the holy father to guide the doctor in finding what is exactly wrong with him and find a solution, as he may have to leave mainstream school. I thank you all in advance for your prayers God bless you all

Keeping your grandson in prayer, Jnnywren. Do they have any idea what it might be? Sometimes children with autism react this way. I’m not saying that he has autism Jnny, just reminded me of the reactions of autistic children that I have been around. God bless. I will keep you all in prayer.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Prayers for Callum … and for wisdom for the doctors & health workers who will treat him, and for love & understanding from his teachers and classmates.

jnnywren, I have a cousin who had what sounds like a similar problem. I don’t know what they called it but he had “hyper” hearing and had to wear earplugs or headphones wired to the teacher to deal with what was excess noise for him.

I offer my prayers for your grandson, his parents and all involved that a solution can be found and he may find peace in class. Peace for his parents and teachers as well. I know it can be extra tough for them as well.

Lord bless Callum and let doctors find what is causing his behaviour . Lord heal this little boy and bless him . Let him be calm and be able to be friendly with his classmates . Thanks for doing this Lord, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AMEN . God Bless and heal Callum .AMEN your brother in Christ, John

Keeping Callum in daily prayer along with all trying to assist him and his doctor…keeping you and your family in prayer too…

Keeping Callum in prayer and that they will be able to diagnose his problem correctly. Have his parent or you go online and google, “Sensory Integration Disfunction or Disorder.” I am not saying he has it, but my nephew was this way with sound and had a hard time in school with it. Noise would bother him a lot and he would get frequent headaches. They thought he might have ADHD, but it turned out he didn’t and it was a sensory problem and the way his brain worked. It is worth checking it out. He was tested for it by a specialist in this area, an Occupational Therapist, and sure enough he had it. My sister first found out from another parent suggesting that he could have this disorder. I know my poor nephew was diagnosed with many things including mental illness. Sensory problem is a neurological disorder and not a mental illness.
