Grateful to God for changes since 2018

In November 2018 I began a string of 4 hospitalizations for my mental health problems. And although I still suffer considerably from those problems, God has done miracles for my spiritual state. Since those hospitalizations, I have quit porn and masturbation entirely (haven’t watched since Nov 26 2018), i became a baptized and confirmed Roman Catholic, and I’ve prayed the rosary every day for 14 months. God has helped me get to weekly Mass every week for months after starting out going maybe 25% of the time because of anxiety.

So, even though my job situation is poor and I’m otherwise miserable, I am convinced God is working towards my salvation, because I would never believe you if you told me I’d be where I am now (I never thought I’d stop the porn, and I never though I’d be Catholic but my priest baptized me privately after the hospitalizations convinced him I had sufficient anxiety to skip RCIA)

I’m glad that the Lord is taking away those afflictions in your life! I know what it’s like to struggle with anxiety, it’s rough. Always keep focused on the Lord and he will make even more great changes in your life! I’ll pray for you, God Bless!
