I heard Jeff Cavins said in his “The Great Adventure bible study” on Genesis, he stated something about the 9 things a Catholic must believe about Genesis (ie Adam and Eve were actual people). Another member of the group said these are not all valid anymore.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I attended both the Bible Timeline and Genesis, as well as other bible studies led by Jeff. You may not find the exact numbering, but this article describes his teaching on the subject: catholic.com/library/adam_eve_and_evolution.asp
