In the hymn Moved by the Gospel, Let Us Move, part of a verse is:
Great Artist, from our common life
According to your will

I have not heard the Lord God referred to as the Great Artist before.
I think it is a marvelous title. God is skillful as an artist. Look at the beauty of his creation.
Please comment.

The mathematics of the laws of science would seem to be the Signature of the Great Artist.

The hymn We are God’s Work of Art would coordinate nicely with the title of Great Artist.
