Great dream about Gods power to overcome demons

I had a scary dream last night, even though its almost 8pm the next day, i can still see it vividly, I usually forget dreams by the middle of the day.

I was in my bedroom, it was dark, only light was from tv (nothing but static), I started seeing human shaped shadows creeping around, I knew it was a demon, I felt very scared, and then it manifested into a tall man, dressed in mid 1700s black clothing, bright red eyes, with rows of shark like teeth, he started for me and began strangling me, The very first thought I had was to scream “I command you to leave in the name of Jesus Christ”, but I was finding myself having trouble getting the words out, it was like the demon made it difficult for me to speak.

Eventually I was able to speak these words and as soon as I did, the entire room lit up like the sun, and I saw this demonic figure writhing in pain, after awhile, he shriveled up into the form of a little dragon, caught fire and burnt to dust within a couple seconds.

I had no problems sleeping the rest of the night, its amazing how powerful his name truly is!

May I suggest explicitly writing this all down in a detailed way and in a handwritten form ASAP? Time the start and finish even of your writing.

(Certainly carefully time the event too - to the best of your knowledge).

I would suggest doing this even tonight while it is fresh in your mind.

Then, the first reasonable chance you get, sit down (perhaps after going to Confession, not because you did anything wrong here, but the Sacrament of Reconciliation has a supernatural way of giving us greater vision and insight in my opinion) with the best Catholic Priest you know, and discuss this with him.

Mikekle, I don’t remember if I told you this before, but I had a dream five years ago that was almost identical to yours. I was attacked by a black shadow, it crushed and paralyze me, I called upon Jesus, the demon fled, the room lit up bright as the sun and the attack was over. That was no ordinary dream, because when I woke up I turned over and saw a luminous white orb with a large halo surrounding it, floating in the air directly in front of me. I was stunned.

It hovered in the air, slowly drifting back and forth for about four minutes, then it slowly disappeared. About 15 seconds later, I was out like a light and slept peacefully all night. I will never forget that night. It was the night I returned to the Catholic Church after a six year absence. I think I really angered the devil that day by returning after I swore six years earlier that I would never go back to the Catholic Church because of the sex abuse scandals. I’m so glad I returned. The devil had me and I didn’t even know it. :eek:

Wow, that is incredible.

Ive read quite a few accounts of white orbs as well, usually not that close to someone though, also quite a few accounts of people seeing 3 dots or orbs that make the shape of a triangle, and eventually vanish or disappear…the more I think about it, Im starting to believe the triangle represents the trinity, and they were shown this for a reason.
 
Spiritual warfare dream. First confrontation to gain further ground. In Christ you won.
