Great Sunday! I visted TWO National Shrines!

I visited the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes

and the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

what a great day, both were fabulous!

My daughter was at a HOBY leadership conference, and as part of the weekend activities they did a community service project to beautify the Grotto. I could spend a whole day there!

Awalt, the grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg is one of my favorite places! I no longer live in Maryland, so I have not been there in several years, but I absolutely LOVE walking the stations of the cross there. If you ever get the chance to visit in late September or early October, go! It is incredibly beautiful there in the Fall.
 
I couldn’t believe how beautiful the .path with the Stations of the Cross was! I also really enjoyed the separate path withthe mysteries of the Rosary! They were unbelieveable.
I wanted to say the Rosary there every day! It must be fun to be a student at Mt. St. Mary’s…
