Hey Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a book (or volume of books) that discusses all the writings of Gregory of Nazianzus?

Thank you,

Bballer32

Do you want the actual writings of Gregory? Or are you looking for commentaries on his writings?

The only second sources I have read about Gregory’s writings have been christology books that discussed the development of christology. Alois Grillmeier’s books discuss the fathers in detail and the development of Christology. Johannes quasten discusses the writings of each of the fathers very superficially and gives a basic explanation of each of them. Nothing in depth but he does cover all the writings to give the basic idea of each text. He might spend 50 pages on a particular father.

Actual writings would be preferred
Selections from his letters and his orations are in this book: amazon.com/Cyril-Jerusalem-Gregory-Nazianzen-St-ebook/dp/B003EEMZI4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1429584749&sr=8-1&keywords=Cyril+of+Jerusalem%2C+Gregory+Nazianzen

Three funeral orations by him are in this book: cuapress.cua.edu/books/viewbook.cfm?book=F022

Selections from his orations are in this book: cuapress.cua.edu/books/viewbook.cfm?book=F107

Three of his poems are in this book: cuapress.cua.edu/books/viewbook.cfm?book=F075

I hope that helps. God bless!
