I just got a call from my husband at work. He works in a place that relies on security because of the nature of his job. They do background checks when you come in and apparently every so often after that. My husband just got some news on his check - apparently, there’s something about bills we hadn’t paid. I’ve been pretty good to stay up with the bills - we even got rid of some of our extra credit cards. But aparently, there’s supposed to be some kind of judgement or something - and some medical bills. Now, a little over a year ago, we had to change out some of our credit cards because we were getting calls - one was “hello, we needed to make sure that you or your husband approved a $1600 charge to an escort service in California…” Needless to say, neither of us had and so we began getting the card changed out. I got nervous and sent for a credit report - a couple of months ago when my husband got a call talking about somet card. I’m fearing that someone may have gotten into our information. My parents had a situation like this kind of and it waas taking so long to fix their credit that they just wound up paying off the debt in order to get the credit back correctly. Please just pray that my husband’s job is o.k. and that we’re able to hadnle this with the least amount of pain, angre - whatever. I just hope our marriage is o.k. with all of this. I ghould have stayed on top of stuff better I guess. Just please pray for our marriage and that I’m/we’re able to get all of this worked out.

There are many, many scams out there. There are also dishonest people who will call you like that to try to destroy your marriage and hurt either/both of you. Satan has been given a long leash in our day! Pray continuously to be delivered from his attacks!
 
Praying that you and your husband keep strong in faith, hope and love and don’t let any of this trouble create serious problems in your relationship. May God give you his love and peace and help you to place all your confidence in Him. May you both be surrendered to whatever God is permitting to happen to you right now and may you both trust in Him with all your might. May you both grow closer to God (and each other) amid your troubles and never lose hope. Praying that you and your husband keep growing in love for each other and never let anger ruin things for you. May you always find new ways to love and forgive each other after misunderstandings and trials. Amen.
 
Thank you for all your prayers. My husband is sleeping in the other room tonight. I know he’s angry at me and I wish I knew this was coming. It’s hard when you’re not sure who to be angry at. I’m just praying that I’ll be able to fix this ASAP. He even said our holiday was probably cancelled. I’ve been praying a novena to the Infant of Prague that I’m able to fix this quickly.
I’m just hoping that financial pressure doesn’t hurt our marriage too much. Again, thank you for the prayer!

Praying that you and your husband can work things out together. I pray that your husband forgives you and tries his hardest to be loving, despite his disappointment in what happened. May you talk to a priest, Shrode, if all this becomes too much for you. If both you and your husband could meet with a good priest that would be excellent.
