Guardian Angel Day?

Hi,

I was told that this Sunday is “Guardian Angel Day”, is that correct? On October 2.

Is it celebrated in traditional Parishes? As in Churches with the TLM/EF Mass?

I have a book entitled Saints of the Roman Calendar its states Guardian Angel feast Day is October 2. Thank you Megan! O friday when I go to mass at the Sacred Heart co-cathederal, I will listen to see what is said meanwhile I need to see if it is in bulletin. There was something about blessing of the animals before St Francis Feast Day there is also a food drive for cats and dogs!

Actually Sunday is Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time. If October 2, falls on a day besides Sunday, then the Mass to the Guardian angels are celebreated Church wide. But Sunday takes precedence over this celebration.

It is celebrated Church wide when October 2, does not fall on a Sunday.

You however can pray to your guardian angel on Sunday though. 🙂
