You are unlikely to know ‘who’ your guardian angel is in the sense that you know the name of the angel, which may or may not even be expressible in spoken language – but you already ‘know’ the guardian angel in ways you do not suspect because you likely think that angel is a part of your own self, mistakenly.
When you receive admonitions, warnings, prompts, inspirations, guidance in your thoughts, i.e. in the sense that these thoughts come to you ‘spontaneously’ you did not actually will that they happen, and these thoughts are spiritual, moral, etc. and correct, in all likelihood these could have come from your guardian angel, or God Himself.
So, in this sense, though you may have been raised to think all your inspirations are your own doing, it is in fact otherwise.
Contrariwise, temptations come from the fallen angels similarly, though normally more oppressively and passionately.
Thus when you finally awaken after death you will find many people who were closer to you than you ever knew.
