Guess I'm still not a JW - Voted Today :)

I still get a secret thrill when I vote or give blood or celebrate holidays. It’s good to be free!

For those who don’t know - Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t do any of those activities - too worldly and pagan. That’s right - no voting or involvement in policital affairs and subsequently, military service. They don’t give whole blood or plasma or accept it even when it is a life-threatening situation, children included. And no Jehovah Wittness was taking their children out trick-or-treating and won’t be gatherig around a Turkey dinner in a few weeks nor hanging a wreath or setting up a nativity scene at Christmas. They don’t celebrate anybody’s birthday, much less the Savior’s.

Ah, yes, It’s good to be free!

I hope you prayed before and are still praying now. My Church is having Eucharistic Adoration today. If yours is, too, I suggest you communicate with God like you never have before done so.

May God have mercy on this country and her citizens.
