Guess what i got!

I always thought it was wrong to wear a rosary as a bracelet or necklace until my grandmother came back from Mexico from visiting her mom. She brought me a beautiful rosary necklace made of silver and crystal beads, and it’s also blessed. I love it. I feel so, how should I put it?? Special? Blessed? So… CATHOLIC. I love it when people look at me and see that I have it on. I’ve only had it for a week, but it’s so beautiful. And I used to think it was a bit fanatic… now I know it’s not (I searched on the net and found out it’s ok to ear them).

However, I did use a rosary bracelet I borrowed from my grandmother for my civil wedding, since it was the only wedding I ever got. 😦

On the same subject, I just received my first real rosary. I had been using a free plastic one for two years (bless the people who provide them). But I could not find the one I wanted anywhere in stock, they were on back order. It is a beautifully masculine Benedictine Rosary with black wooden rectangular Hail Mary beads and small Benedictine medals for the Our Father beads. I found it at Divine Angel Gifts. com divineangelgifts.com/
Its was only $16.59 US dollars total and they sent a free braclet with it. I gave that to my six y.o. daughter. They had it to me in four days from across the country. I’m very happy with it and their service. Tim

Get it blessed!

I had a new Rosary on me the other day and can’t believe how fortunate I was to meet a Priest from Nigeria! I asked him to bless it. I may never see him again, but will always remember our conversation, he told me not to ever say “I’m not Catholic yet” to say " I am Catholic in my heart" because all Christians are. I thought that was so sweet and that’s when I asked him to bless my Rosary…

aaww, sweet story, huh? I bet you 6yo loves the braclet. My 6yo son has a rosary, he loves it!
 
Yes tomorrow after confession by the Benedictine blessing, already set up. She loves it and I got a hug and kiss for it.🙂
