I viewed this today and it is so sad that we , the children of our Mother the Church and Mary need to be so confused. The IRS is not God, yet the Bishops in the USA think it is.
We would do better to not have the tax free status and then all of the church militant could fulfill the mission we have been assigned by God before creation. To save souls at all costs, our tax status and possibly our lives.

This is totally outrageous. Our Catholic Church is going by the way of liberalism and it is so sad. How can our Pope allow such a thing to continue? Why can’t he do something about these types of issues? These liberal Bishops/Priests must be reprimanded or removed if necessary. If they are not going to backup and teach by the Catholic Church’s teachings, what good are they?
 
We can not blame our Pope. He is not a mind-reader.
Unless some of the eye witnesses bring something to his attention, or to the attention of the appropriate Vatican Committees, he will not know and not be able to correct it.

When writing to the Pope about something that your local Bishop will not correct, always state the dates, times and locations of the offense that has not been corrected.
The Bishop should always be given the opportunity to fix things first.

In addition it is helpful if you quote the appropriate paragraphs from one or more of the following:
“Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition”;
GIRM (General Instruction of the Roman Missal);
Code of Canon Law;
or a
Papal Encyclical.
These can all be found on the Vatican web site.

Thank you, ANNE 2. I was not blaming the Pope, I just wondered if there was anything he could do about that. In my opinion the Bishop of the El Paso Diocese is totally in the wrong and he needs to be corrected/reprimanded.

I was listening to an interview on Youtube with John DeCamp, the prosecutor who wrote The Franklin Coverup, about the horrific sexual enslavement of children in Omaha, in which a politican and business owner took children from Boys Town supposedly to work for him and instead made them sex slaves. Anyway, there were priests involved, unfortunately, and when Mr. DeCamp found out about that, he went to Rome to have an “audience” with the pope, who at that time was JPII. Well, he found out an audience with the Pope meant sitting in a room with other people and basically getting to say hi to the Pope. He was very disappointed, but after the Pope left, one cardinal stayed behind to talk to him and told Mr. DeCamp that Rome knew what was going on, but that the people in the US refused to listen to Rome. He told Mr. DeCamp to keep doing what he was doing in investigating the abuse. That cardinal was Cardinal Ratzinger. Mr. DeCamp was amazed a few years later when Cardinal Ratzinger was named Pope, and he realized he had had a private audience with the pope after all.

You can be sure that our Holy Father is very well aware of what is going on, but there are so many forces tying his hands. Pope Benedict XVI carries heavier loads than we could ever imagine. Pray for him always. That is where the answer is.

Hmmm, I wonder if this situation in El Paso is already on the radar in Rome? I know that
there was a nun who took some of our concerns to the Vatican a few years ago. (Ck the
YouTube that Michael Voris did the day after the one being discussed.) But perhaps if
we can keep this in the spotlight, we can have some changes in the unorthodox teaching
going on in this diocese. Not to mention the bishop sanctioning those teaching faithfully
according to the magesterium.
So, yes, do pray for us here in this diocese, priests and laity.

The holy father knows all about it but cannot do much about it. the liberals are too many for him to take them out if there arent many others to replace them. Our Lord will take care of this in due time.

Yes, of course. the problem is that some Catholic will get really upset with us if we give them this.

This is a time where Catholics should be crying for the Church. The Church that is bleeding from all sides. Instead they will telll us to be happy. But God tells us to dress in sack cloth and cry in repentance for what we have done to HIs House.

Thank you for the link. Although I am from Colorado, I fully agree that Fr. Rodriguez should be brought back to El Paso. I am a former El Pasoan. I cannot believe the Bishops response in the video!!! How could anyone like him become a Bishop?
