As a Catholic you cannot “go along” with Baptizing your child in another non-Catholic church. I’m not saying do this behind your husbands back. But it is time to say I committed to this when we married, it is my obligation and responsibility and I take it seriously. I am obligated to do this as a condition of our marriage. To Baptize and raise all children in the Catholic faith to the bset of my ability.Would your husband allow your son to be baptized in his Protestant faith? If so, then do that. Continue on as you are with your son’s Catholic education and when he reaches the age of consent, he can convert. Until then, he will at least be baptized. In the meantime, maybe he can convince his father of his wishes himself.
