Guidelines for Baptism with non-Catholic godparents?

My daughter agreed to get our grandaughter baptised but choosed a non-catholic (budhist)godparent. Our initial response from our parish requires all christian godparents.

My son-in-law is also a budhist, but married my daughter in a catholic church.

Can you please guide us or tell us our option/s, how to get the baptism of our granddaughter happen?
