Hanging the Christmas lights tomorrow

As is my tradition, I’ll be hanging my Christmas lights tomorrow, the first Sunday of Advent.

My wife is putting up our nativity set as I type.

What is your tradition about this time of year?
 
I grew up with finding a small pine tree on Christmas Eve and decorating it,but my kids might bring that forward this year 🙂
Haven’t a Nativity set at the moment but will be on the look out or will make one.And will try and make an Advent wreath ASAP !
 
Soon, I will be going down to the basement and rooting through my boxes to find my Nativity set, and my red plaid tablecloth for the kitchen table. I need to get some candles for my version of Advent an “wreath” later, which will also go on the kitchen table.
 
Just started to purchase some presents and will probably write Christmas cards for relatives abroad during the week. Also kicking myself for handing out a free Advent resource after mass and forgetting to take one for myself. The decorations will come out Christmas Eve.
