The Catholic Church, the only Church Christ founded will soon celebrate her founding anniversary. Since it was founded in 33 AD, the Mother Church will now celebrate her 1975th year here on earth.

Glory be to God!
 
Is there any significance to the 1975th anniversary? (I mean, 1975 isn’t much more captivating or romantic as 2000.)

Would you suggest what day (or date) the Church was founded?

Every year is significant to the Church. After all, the Church is not after of what is captivating and romantic. Jesus did not build the Catholic Church for that purpose.
