Happy Holidays...if that is not too offensive?

Happy Holidays. As we approach the time of the year when the force that might have created the universe sent his, her, or its’ only begotten offspring that none should be offended. As we all await the birth of the Winter Season child’s annual gift payoff come celebrate with all of humanity without regard to race, creed or lack thereof, ethnicity, sex, or genetically disposed sexual orientation by purchasing more and more consumer goods. And remember to keep the focus of this season on YOU!

If I in any way offended any readers here on the Catholic Answers forum I apologize. That was not my intent, but let us know, and we will enroll ourselves in the closest diversity training class available.

Don’t let it trouble you, just two countries divided by a common language, :ehh: your’s isn’t the first post here that I’ve wondered about it’s humor content.

I thought you put the words together good, it was just the content I was unsure about, obviously I didn’t and still don’t get it. :nope:
And one reason why I rarely tell jokes on here, people laugh at different things, nothing worse than a commedian dying on stage.

Here in the states the controversy this year is over whether one should say “Merry Christmas” or “Happy Holidays.” Plus the usual secularization of the Christmas season that goes on. I was trying to come up with an unoffensive politically correct holiday greeting. Apparently outside the boundries of the US, I did not succeed. Pax.
