Good day everyone,

A friend and I are having a hard time locating 3 letters of St. Augustine that we want to read. Philip Schaffs’ Father’ s Set does not include them, which is not surprising because they are supposedly very clear on Primacy of the Roman Bishop as Peter’s successor. Nevertheless, we haven’t found them yet.

They are St. Augustine’s letters # 175-177,

If anyone has an idea where on the internet we may be able to get them, we would be much obliged. We’re sure a good Father’s set by a Catholic publishing company would have them, but that’s something we just don’t have.

Thanks

St. Augustine’s letters # 175-177 are included in Saint Augustine: Letters, Volume IV (165-203), trans. by Sister Wilfrid Parsons, S.N.D., published as The Fathers of the Church: A New Translation, Volume 30, (a Catholic University of America publication) published by Fathers of the Church, Inc., New York, 1955.

This work is probably available at any university library near you or available from your local public library through inter-library loan.

How about that!! That’s awesome, thanks Todd! I’m on it bro!!

Kudos for digging up old threads!!
