Has any academic refutation been presented against the views in Alberto A. Martinez's article, "Giordano Bruno and the heresy of many worlds", yet?

Hello Kei and many thanks for your reply and help. Unfortunately, the statement in the Catholic Encyclopedia was mentioned in the beginning of this article as one of the statements denied by this scholar. Although I believe in this statement, this scholar claimed that, as what is shown in the abstract, his article was supported by “recent and newly discovered primary sources”, and this is why I emphasised the published date of this article.

Such as?

He was punished for among other things thinking God was dependent upon creating, hence why he believed God was constantly creating.

Does he have any of these primary sources or present any evidence to the contrary?
