This is something I think I should have posted like when I first joined this forum because it’s been lingering in my mind for a while.I remember about four years ago during a very moving epiphany like Mass for me that a priest (who ussually is’nt one of that Church’s priests) said that the Eucharist is God’s hug to us and without he’d be a monologue. For a long time I thought that this meant that with the Eucharist that we have in Christianity we have a “dialogue” with God and this is a distinction between Christianity and Judaism (I thought that in Judaism they just have God as a monologue .i.e. him talking to the people). However now that I think about that’s not what it means is it (or does it)?.Has anyone ever heard of the Eucharist being explained like this and if so what does it mean?.Thank you very much so for your time.
