I was wondering if anyone would like to share how prayers were answered after visiting a shrine.
About 5 years ago, I went to a shrine in Belgium of Saint Dymphna. As much as I liked the Saint, it was also a convenient excuse to take a trip to Europe
When my dad died, I managed to be at peace in my heart over all the conflict that happened between us. I seriously think that was a result of Saint Dymphna interceding for me. And the reason I am positive is because that wasn’t exactly what I had prayed for. (To be honest, I don’t even remember what I prayed for when I was there). The reason I am sure it was intercession is because God answered my prayers by giving me what He felt I needed not what I asked for. And what he gave me in that instance was much better than I could have ever though of asking for.
The reason I am starting this thread is because I am planning on visiting a shrine fairly close to where I live in Canada. Or at least at lot closer than Belgium
I just don’t want this to turn into something superstitious
