Has anyone here done the St. Louis de Montfort consecration to Mary?

Has anyone done this consecration (I think it’s like 33 days long)? I’m starting “True Devotion to Mary” and then I plan to do the consecration. I was just wondering if anyone here has any experiences to share or any tips on how to go about it the best way.

There is already a post here about this that was just made recently. Myself I am currently reading the book and plan to begin on July 13th.

My husband has done it. He then went on to the St. Maximillion Kolbe Militia Immaculata with his consecration.

I haven’t done it. My devotion is to the Holy Spirit, not that I don’t love Our Blessed Mother, I just hang out with her spouse, more.

How much more drawn to you will the Holy Spirit be if he finds his spouse present within you!

If you are truly devoted to the Holy Spirit, give yourself entirely to Him. Being truly united to Him unites you fully to His spouse as well. Can’t be devoted to one without the other.

So He revealed to me 2 weeks ago, when He asked me to begin preparing for my Marian consecration.

I did the consecration 21 years ago and faithfully try to renew it every year on March 25. A wonderful devotions with many graces attached to it.

I don’t know why I haven’t been called to do the consecration.

I do love praying the Rosary. Five days a week I wear Marian Tshirts to the pool, and pray the Rosary while my boys are in swim lessons. I figure that I may draw stares, but the fundies will find me too far gone to try to convert.

I do an act of Consecration to the Holy Spirit almost daily. We also enthroned the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the Feast day, so I have a new daily consecration.

I do let the troubles of our new son – age five – get in the way some of my prayer life. He hasn’t much of a conscience yet, and needs constant supervision like a gifted two year old. So, I do a morning offering to the Sacred Heart through the Immaculate Heart of Mary – and that may be my most focused though brief prayer time.

It will get better, I know. I will just keep praying as often as I can,

yes - December 8, 1996 - I have also renewed my consecration most years since then. I also read and pray the consecration prayer daily after morning Mass. Our Lady is such a gentle guide and powerful protection for my life!

Consecrate yourself to the Holy Spirit, far and away superior to anything else one can do.
