Hello Friends:

Has anyone read the most marvelous book geared to anybody–"Letters to a Young Catholic by George Wiegel? It is the most beautiful touching book I have read so far in my journey to the Catholic Faith! I recommend it highly!

Any thoughts? Has anyone read any of Weigel’s other books?

I urge any Catholic or Protestant to pick up a copy–it’s very beautiful–especially if you’re of the creative artistic nature as I am.

I’m reading it now! And I’m loving it! I’m going on a convention with my husband this weekend and hope to finish it… It’s not just for the young either or new Catholics it’s so rich! I too recommend it! Annunciata:)

I haven’t read “Letters to a Young Catholic” yet, but I have read George Weigel’s “The Courage to be Catholic” and I highly recommend it. I also started reading his “The Truth of Catholicism”, but for some forgotten reason put in down in the middle and never finished it. I intend to pick it back up and start from the beginning right after I’m done the book I am currently reading.

I purchased Weigel’s biography on Pope John Paul II “Witness to Hope”, but I haven’t started it yet, perhaps the book’s size is intimidating me LOL. 😃

Thanks for recommending “Letters to a Young Catholic”.
