Has anyone read the Revised New Jerusalem Bible?

If so, what do you think of it? Are there flaws in the text we should look out for? I am aware, even some of the best versions of the Bible (my preference being the RSVCE) are not without their flaws, but I have heard very little about this version. Revised New Jerusalem Bible

I have it and really like it. All Biblical translations will have variances.

This is true, and I know a lot of times, that boils down to preference (I have several versions I have access to). I was trying to find reviews on it, although for some reason, Google seems to think I am talking about the New Jerusalem Bible.
 
Why not read some verses against other Bibles and see what you think of it.
 
That’s not a bad idea, got to find a place to get it first.
 
I just went to Amazon, and found this “This title will be released on December 3, 2019” Just in time for the Christmas shopping season, no doubt.
 
Interesting until I read “gender inclusion”. What is the churches policy on gender inclusion and translations?
 
For the readings in Mass the Church has been using “gender-inclusive” translations for quite a long time, I think.
 
For horizontally oriented language, I believe the Church allows that, like using humankind instead of mankind, but for references directly to God, gender-inclusive is not allowed. I’m not a huge fan of the gender-neutral language in versions of the Bible, but that being said, I won’t dismiss a version of the Bible out of hand just because it uses it. I know a lot of people don’t like the NRSV, or the NRSVCE but that version played a very important role in my love of the Bible
