Has anyone seen the movie The Frontrunner about Gary Hart?

I saw this movie last night. I liked it and thought it was good.
I vaguely remember the Gary Hart/Donna Rice scandal. I thought he was just a senator and did not realize or had forgotten he was actually running for
president. Needless to say, he dropped out of the race after 3 weeks.
Considering who was elected 4 years later, he maybe should have stayed in the race.
If anyone else saw the movie, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts about
the movie. I thought it was well made and had a good cast.

I probably won’t see it.
1- I remember it from the news when it happened. I don’t care to dredge up that bit of the past.
2- From what I saw in the ads for the movie, the actor did not look enough like Gary Hart to me. I find that distracting. :confused:
 
No he didn’t look a lot like Gary Hart. The actor is more handsome although Gary Hart was not unattractive. It was interesting seeing the energy of his campaign and the young people committed to helping him run the campaign.

Except there is already a movie by that time I believe.

Donna Rice did a good job of keeping her name out of the media these last 30 years.
She did not become a parriah like Monica
Lewinsky.

Monica got to have her say in The Clinton
Affair though.

I don’t know what became of Donna. In the movie she was portrayed as a naive goody two shoes.
