When Jesus appeared to the saints like St. Francis of Asissi, St. Faustina or St. Thomas Aquinas did he ever talk about the Trinity or provide a private revelation in which He talked about the relationship of the Trinity to any of them? If so, were any of those revelations used in ecumenical councils?
Because as we know, Catholics believe that since apostoilc times, Jesus, for example, has talked about His “Divine Mercy”, His “Sacred Heart” and so forth. Even Mary is believed to have said that she is the “Immaculate Conception”.
