Since the Son became incarnate and now was one person with two natures (human and divine), and also ascended to heaven in a human body, does this mean he has completely bound himself to humankind?

It is the central most profound mystery of Christianity. 🙂 But in a word; Yes! 😃

I can only give you my personal opinion.

God is bound by all of His creations because (I believe) they–or we–are a part of Him. He did not just bind Himself to mankind, He has bound Himself to all that He created, knows, and loves… which is, technically, everything that contains some sort of life force from us (as mankind) to bigger and more complex things such as a nebula.

How can He not love something so beautiful as a maturing nebula? 😃

If the answer to my question is yes, it is one of the greatest examples of God’s love there is…:heaven:

And even greater that you and I are invited to have the same relationship with His Father as His adopted sons and daughers … what St. Paul in Ephesians 1 mentions as being “blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavens.” There is no greater blessing in the heavens that God could give us more than to be an adopted son and daughter of God - and to be able to call God “Father” as Christ does. He is truly our Brother as well as our Lord!!!

…huh… :ehh:
I guess you didn’t understand my sense of humor. You stated earlier “How can He not love something so beautiful as a maturing nebula?”. I was jokingly making the inference that you were talking about yourself as a nebula.

Hmm… kind of a stretch, but I guess if this thread was posted in the Water Cooler, I may have found it… a little funnier.
