Has the internet created more evil in the world?

I think it has made much more readily accessable- you don’t have to go out in public to buy anything anymore, if you don’t want to.

I don’t know about “creating” more evil in the world but the internet has sure increased it, considering how it’s helped out pedophiles and obscenity.

But on the other hand, the internet has helped connect families separated by land through use of e-mail, and connected us through the use of these forums.

I was one who used to think that it was, and it brought more evil into the world.

I am no longer of that opinion.

It used to be a person could tell a lie, and it could last forever, now it’s debunked in a moment.

People used to be able to say “well the Bible says” or “the Catholic Church teaches”, now within few keystrokes you can confirm or disprove either of those statements.

It is my opinion that the “Truth” is winning, and I think the internet has a lot to do with that,

It can be compared to many other things. I think it is good but it also has the potential to be misused.
