Hasn't interreligious dialogue gone too far?

What would Sts. Peter and Paul and Stephen say if they saw how much approval we give to other religions. Buddists,
Muslims, Hindus, JANES ! for crying out loud. I just watched the Pope meet and greet some members of these reliigions and it greatly disturbed me. There is salvation only through Jesus Christ, not Muhammad or anyone else. Why then are we treating these people like we approve of their blasphemy towards God by worshiping strange gods. I believe we should have interreligious dialogue to show people that Jesus is THE way, THE truth, and THE life, and that no man can approach the Father except through Christ. We are not to accept a copy of the Koran and a silver box from them, pat them on the back, and say well done. There is no love in letting these people continue on in their error. Am I wrong in believing that Jesus and the Apostles told the truth when they disapproved of strange gods and religions?

Hi,

Christianity cannot be forced on people. They have to be ready and only God determines when. Our Blessed Lord didn’t require that pagans follow Him before He healed them. He scandalized the Jewish leaders by dining with sinners. His closest followers were free to betray Him and two did.

By being polite and kind to members of other religions, the pope is not giving approval to what they believe. He is treating them as he would like to be treated. I believe this is called the Golden Rule.
